I really hope he doesn't keep that mindset and actually does something with his life other than being spider-man. There are many options that give him both an alibi to those looking on the surface but more than enough time without supervision to get his hero'ing on. Especially if he becomes his own boss.
I'm good-looking too, but I deliberately tone down my appearance because my charisma attribute is a little bit high you know 30, but also isn't considered that very high. You see, celebrity-level looks are around 50, while an average look is about 10. Strange, I know, but that's what the system says. So, I asked the system to tweak my facial features to make them less striking, aiming for a more average look, though still slightly more attractive than before. Is the tragedy tag translating to "I will just randomly kill off characters", "the ending is a sad one" or just a sad past causing the character to develop into who they are in Book 3?

Another fanfic where he constantly complains about stuff like that but then does nothing to really fix it till near the end... Where author seemingly dropped it.
At least in my house, those supernatural beings cannot barge in whenever they want willy-nilly. They will be in for a surprise counter-attack and curses if anyone even tries to barge in, and we will know immediately if someone's trying to enter my house unannounced.
