After rereading/skimming. Taylor is the only one who calls her Shirley. Chapter 26 sheās your mother, this is first reference I saw to her being called Shirley. This does not explain why though. Jodie is not Shirley on any nickname given that Iām aware of. Aka Robert being called Bob as an example. Aunt South didnāt seem to have a name unless I overlooked it.
