“Portal spirits,” that’s a very interesting idea to be developed. I’m worried about Gahrye now, but I have a feeling he’ll be okay. I can’t help but assume certain connections with “losing one’s self” based on this new element and secret scenes our brilliant author has released on her discord. I’m not saying I am right, but my cogs are spining.
Out of multitude of characters that have captured a piece of my heart, Elia and Reth are 100% the best characters I have loved. The way their love has deepened and grown since they were children is magical. His vulnerability to Elia is so beautiful. Their devotion and dedication to one another is unparalleled. Despite all that has happened and is yet to come, they only grow stronger in love. They are each other’s home.
Nope. Elia might have trained and such. She may be substantially stronger, but she is not a vicious and conniving wolf! More importantly, she is pregnant. Nay, Nay, nay! I know she and Reth love their people, but they need to say, “bucket,” and find a nice cozy home in the human world. Grab Gahrye, Behryn and Amorya, and get to getting.
I don't want to give away any spoilers, I will just how how utterly adorable I found this story. The characters went from goofy and adorable to well rounded and substantial. There are so many laugh out loud hilarious moments. The "power washing" fairy gave me a fit of laughter. I have two small issues with the plot. The main climatic moment was very anticlimactic. It needs more umph or pizzazz to it. It just happens and then nothing. The other thing is the ending. While it is sweet, and I am thankful for a happy ending, it simultaneously seemed to drag out, and seem rushed at the same time. Some of it seems to be unnecessary filler. It is a wonderful story, and I recommend it to anyone. There's eternal love and witty repartee. It's an overall great read!
Ash is just the most adorable and wonderful thing! ❣️
