That was my thought to. If the Ancient Ones can restrict celestials… Quinn has an easy way out. It’s not as if remaining a celestial benefits him if he’s just gonna be trapped forever, so might as well go to the team God Slayer side and get out

The Marpo Headquarters was located on a deserted planet. There were no signs of life here, not even beasts, but the planet was gigantic, around the same size as Jupiter in the Solar System. Because of that, it was rich in minerals that could be used to build things reactively easily, like the giant cruise ships that flew from planet to planet. - Taixun1yrCommented

Story as I see it so far: “Gods” (or maybe just crazy rich dudes) make a bet, who would win, humans or zombies. Both sides are allowed to create “champions”… which are the two we see fighting here. The process must mess with their brains, cause this fight made little sense :-/ It’s obvious his friend is still there, mentally at least, so why treat him like the rest of the zombies… no one is that dense…
