What's the point of this. Equating 10,000 ryo to 100,000 yen is pointless because Naruto’s world runs on an entirely different economy. You can’t apply real-world currency conversions to a fictional society. This only breaks immersion and adds nothing useful to the story.

Although the surgery itself has a 90% survival rate for the first year after transplant, the median survival is about 10 to 15 years post-transplant, most people don't live for longer than 30 years. So I find this to be a mostly emotional decision, it seems as if the MC is deceiving himself into believing that it is a logical descision.
