There will definitely be an empire and lots of chapters will be focused on it when mc has reached high level and will spend many years in seclusion. However, the empire will not be the focus of the story. The original name I gave this story was “rise of the vampiric empire” but I changed it to “blood immortal”, so you can see where my focus will lay for the endpoint of the novel.

I use Grammarly, but I have found that it always misses one or two things or “corrects” you into the wrong phrasing, making the sentence grammatically wrong. For example, some words may be corrected into the wrong one, and when doing so I would just think that was what I intended to write, and the mistake would be published
