When I write I don't give myself a schedule. I find it very hard to stick to one, so I write when I want! Writing isn't a chore or job of some sorts, it's something I do for fun, so why schedule fun?

I can understand what you're saying, but even this amount of foreshadowing, which is very minuscule anyway, provides a wide array of possibilities for this to go still. Maybe an attack? An item? A love confession? Who knows just yet? I personally don't see how this limits the possibilities, instead it widens them with how vague this is.

It's just an hypothesis, and probably it doesn't even apply on this world entirely, but it's just insight I have learned from reading and watching countless fantasy action anime, manga and novels. I always noticed that the best action stories always had character with different types of abilities that somehow complemented each other, making the character grow in strength through the battle, overpowering their enemies at the end. - Void_ic2yrCommented

The humanoid monsters like the monkeys have classes, while everything else is more of a specialized evolutionary bit. Besides the mc who can choose what they evolve into, everything else seems to evolve according to their own strengths and is given the best option out there for them. It talks about the spider queen that was good at close combat, so it evolved into something that further amplified that, and sounds like it adds burning or something, anyway, hope that explanation helps.
Something that I have noticed about this world System is its fairness, with such a simplistic leveling system, every being has the equal chances to evolve and become stronger, even if they are extremely weak like I was, there will be always a path ahead, and any effort will be rewarded! - Void_ic2yrCommented

You could chalk up shorter height to evolution in a way. This is a novel based on a futuristic setting, so humans could have evolved to be shorter to better use the newfound bloodline abilities? Or my nerd is showing here and I'm thinking too much.
