Either they both get captured and have a miniscule chance of survival, or at ves alone has a good chance of living. It's a pick your poison type of situation, and it only makes sense to chose the one that actually has a feasible chance of getting one of them out alive.
Between the risk of getting captured and having his System robbed of his possession, Ves would rather give up his cousin. As a noncombatant, Ves lacked the means to change the course of the ensuing battle. I don't know if it remeber the spells or anything, but since things like life flames are not spells, but instead are a natural phenomena that's a species specific trait, it could have something to do with the stored dna allowing them to use the abilitys?

I mean, that's just how the world works. This is a prestigious academy for a reason, and talent nearly always beats hard work. The author has also repeatedly emphasized lith's lack of talent, and how Quylla is a one in a million talent, so it's really not surprising that everything comes so much easier to her.

You say that everyone is talking about it, so could you provide a link to a tweet about it or something? tbh I'm not trying to say that your wrong, but some solid proof is needed before we can just convict they guy for possibly nothing. I tried looking up keywords but I couldn't find a single tweet or anything about it, so as long as you can find any bit of solid proof that's all I need.

Tbh I find that kinda hard to believe when he's seemingly never talked about his novel on his youtube channel, and he's never referenced his youtube channel here either. His discord user name is also different as you can see in zy's videos. Not only that but it says in the authors bio that he's from Indonesia, so I'm confused where you got this from?
