Yun Lintian hasn't get super serious yet and he only uses one bloodline power. They are basically testing each other strength at this stage. Hei Yue is using the Primordial God's power while Yun Lintian isn't. Once Yun Lintian uses one of the Primordial God powers like the Sun God, he will surpass her instantly. He's also afraid that the battle is under the God of Darkness' eyes, so he doesn't want to reveal that he's possesses the power of Primordial God. Not yet. [Spoiler] While Yun Lintian possesses 4 Primordial God powers, Hei Yue also has more than one. He will figure out soon.

They are not immortals. Just divine level cultivators. There's no true immortal here except for those True Gods that have super long lifespan that close to forever.

In fact, Lintian has his own plan but he just doesn't show it and goes with the flow. For now, his focus is on finding a way to erase all the outside threats like Shadow Demons, etc. Once his memory during his journey in another timeline returns, he will reveal his true nature and become another beast, I promise. Soon.
