FYI the cold hinders muscle hyper trophy, so it does mot promote better muscle recovery in terms of hypertrophy but it actually recovers the muscles so that they don’t experience a benefit from the exercises. So, in summary cold plunges are not beneficial towards muscle growth, but are beneficial for recovery if you have an intense session the day after your previous intense workout.
