So his ability could have one of these two descriptions (just choose one). The first description is this: The user creates the dark domain around themselves which reminds of black sphere which could have different properties( glass like body, mist/smoke, irregularly shaped black matter and so on). When the user casts it on a certain area, it will stay there, or it will follow the caster if he chooses to. It could have one of these effects, choose one or mix a couple of them together. When it is used it will interrupt other spells or dispel them. It could temporarily steal an opponent's senses while decreasing their vision range, or instead of senses their stats can be decreased while they are in range. (Those stats won’t be given to caster, reason too OP) the mana consumption will be high to cast it( I’d say he only gets it at level 4 and it would cost half his mana) the range can be changed by you but it should start as 10 meters at lvl4, 20 at lvl 5 and 30 lvl 6. Depending on your choice the suitable name will be given to said ability. For the first option it could be called “shadow/darkness shock/impulse”, for the second one either “lights out” or “black out” and for the last one “shadow/darkness swamp”. All names are self explanatory, yet If don’t like the names chose your own If you don’t like the first choice here’s a second one: this one will be trap based magic, The caster will have three marks which he can please on a solid object, when it is triggered by enemy or if user remotely activates it will create a mouth or shadow hand which swallows/drags somebody in. They will then find themselves in a shadow pocket where certain conditions have to be met, before they can leave/escape. The terrain can be made of a forest or city with objects having an unstable shape. Depending on your choice, users can create creatures/phantoms to hunt and disturb victim/s. The caster can phase through objects and will have enormous advantage over trapped adventure /bandit/citizen. However the cast time is extremely long, might take 1 hours to set up and mana cost will be around 80% of max mana. To get into said space he has to touch the mark, then he can exist in other mark locations. For his victim to escape they will have to find five monoliths or totems and break them. Which will be extremely difficult because the space is designed to trap and slowly but surely corrupt the victims mind due to hallucinations, voices, constant eyes watching them or humanoid/non-humanoid figures hiding behind objects and stalking/whispering/attacking them. Also more than 5 totems/monoliths can be created; those can act as bates and when broken will leave a debuff for an unknown period of time or summon something to attack them. Example of a debuff: blindness. Example of creature: bear with mixture of wolf/deer skull which mimics voices and bodies of devoured victims

Wouldn’t do that, putting hot water on a frost bite will only make it worse. They should put the limb or hall body in to the cold water and gradualley increas the water temperature.

I can make a more detail description if you want

He could create a temporal domain ( 20 by 20 room, give or take, which lasts around 10 seconds at start, it can be upgraded or evolved to increase range or duration.) which temprerly prevent opponent/s from using skills or magic or simply seals away there senses. Might need a nerf, so just make a long casting time or make a condition like “it has to be set as trap”
