The "he" I'm referring to is the one that's passing on the inheritance. If someone comes down there, they're likely either over prepared or under-prepared. Furthermore, the one passing down the inheritance asks that the inheritor avenge them by killing the king of the snakes. If the inheritor was capable of that, why wouldn't the inheritor kill all the snakes to begin with? Why would he or she go way down to the end of the valley, so far out of the way, inherit the stuff and then build up power and kill the snake king? That sequence of events is unlikely for all but protagonist-style inheritors. It's way more likely that the snake king would've already moved on or died by the time the inheritance was uncovered.

Good question. What happens if they cannot pay? Is this compulsory in the same way taxes are?
this is a clever introduction to a world of cultivation
As far as I can imagine, she'd be really gorgeous
... you do realize that it says "beef" jerky in the paragraph, don't you? While you can make jerky from any meat, you can't make beef jerky from lizards. That's not how it works.
You're welcome. I'd be happy to do more but I can't afford to unlock the chapters on webnovel.
Oh yeah? Was she planning all of that out from the beginning? Did she know she was going to die on this mission? Retreating and healing would've been a better ploy. I think the moron is the one that can't speak without cursing.
**so why didn't the protective items?

why does that ring a bell?
why was there anything left of her? Is it because he stopped early?
I think complexion sounds more natural than aspect does.

malleable is the only other word I can think of that conveys a similar point... however, it has a slightly different definition so it's application needs to be fine tuned.
It felt right to me and it makes perfect sense. It was a proper application of English
