First one can be like sensing other people's bio electric field and can determine there location, feelings and body strength. While mana sense can be used to detect incoming spells for example air magic as in reality it is invisible and determin other people's remaining mana and what type of magic they have, it's like if there mana gives different feelings or color for different elements and magic.
