Nyx could understand her mother's intentions yet she couldn't help but hate her. She knew very well that if witches caught demons they didn't just kill them, they tortured them until they admitted that they were sinful creatures. Then they burned them. The author has changed the story. in an ealrier chapter she said Irene/Nyk’s mother cursed them when Lorthor/Lucifer hessitated in killing him. (Andwhy does everyone have multiple names 🤦🏻♀️). The author is very talented but needs to proof read and keep up with her own storyline!
After fighting a bit more Nyx gave up and leaned into Lucifers arms. Lucifer sat her back down onto the ground and then loosened his hold. He slowly stroke her back in a comforting way but it didn't comfort her at all. - DaoistbfafkM3yrCommented

Agreed! It wound be much cheaper too! I am hooked on this story but when I am done I dont think I will be using this app again. One chapter a day unless you spend $10 a month or more is crazy. I cant even figure out how to check in every day! You’d think it woukd check you in automatically when you open it to read. 🤦🏻♀️ I spend more time trying to find the check in than it takes me to read the chapter.
