Bunch of different supernaturals co-exist in modern/contemporary settings where not only strength and weakness of an individual are portrayed but also characteristics of their species have been taken into account. Good depiction of not only main leads but also support characters. Fast paced with explanation of the world building where it's needed. Worth the read and following.

It had a gold-dyed leather-bound book, which was halfway hidden behind a stack of many other blue-dyed leather-bound books.
