Never, and I mean never, heed the word of a 1-star spam review ranting about "dumb MC" or what have you. It is always an overreaction to the MC making a normal human error or because the MC made a choice that they disagree with. They forget their readers omniscience and think you'd automatically be the second coming of Madara or something should you transmigrate and leave no room for error in their expectations. The story is good so far. I like the MC's character, it's almost like a coming-of-age story with the MC breaking out of his naivety and forming his principles and morals for the Shinobi world. I respect the artistic liberties taken, especially ones with the parts discussing the Senju, it's always annoying seeing fanfic not willing to explore in the dark outside of strict lore provided by the original story so I'm glad this isn't one of them. Substitution Jutsu was mishandled in my opinion, the story making it even stronger than Amenotejikara, but it's a nonissue because it's not abused. Honestly, at this point I believe that thing should be a no touch zone for all fanfictions because even in the original series it doesn't make sense how it works. The OC's are cool, but I don't know how to explain it but it feels like they don't have much for their identity in the plot. Perhaps it's with how the story is currently focused on major plotlines that there's not enough room to let them have their own story in this world, if that makes sense. I guess that would be part of my expectations for the future of this fanfic as a reader but that's neither here nor there. Anyways, check it out, I believe it will be would be worth your while.
