She felt good about the technology. She wouldn't even be the first person in Megaton to use one of her cybernetic eyes, either. She had been declared the official doctor and possible saint of the Children of the Atom, and she regularly had one of the faithful brought to see her, often by one of the cult's leaders. Very few of the Children of Atom were what Lily might refer to as healthy, but she noticed that they mostly all tended to be very resistant to radiation. She supposed any faithful that wasn't didn't live that long, that or they wisened up and fucked off after the second or third time they got seriously ill. - Person_Jane1yrCommented

It was odd for a VI or non-sapient AI to spontaneously develop awareness but even transhumanity did not have experience where a system with a vastly overpowered processor and limited ability to reprogram itself would run for hundreds of years straight. So, she considered it plausible that many Miss Nanny might be close to developing self-actualization or already there. Unless he had this weird relationship with Death, but I don't think that's very likely. Death isn't a person, She's the concept of the end of everything. She doesn't have emotions and she doesn't give a flying fuck about Thanos. She's a multiversal being which means that there are an infinite number of Thanos who have achieved whatever the one in this universe dreams of doing, some even more so. He's not special, not in a way that Death appreciates, at least. Cosmic entities who exist on the same scale as Death would only be interested if the person is unique in the multiverse itself. Someone like me, like America Chavez, only exist in a single universe. In the end, Thanos is not that special. - Person_Jane1yrCommented
