Мені сподобалась ця книга. Не маючи повного уявлення про світ Ван Піс, цю книгу варто прочитати використовуючи Інтернет для пошуку зображення, історії різних героїв. Й з того що я прочитав, можу сказати що історія перестала бути канонічною з появою Ріфана, але все одно має певну подібність з оригіналом, по наповненню. Плюс до цієї книги є те, що головний герой не є незайманим і має якісь почуття до протилежної статі.
