I'm not gonna lie...it took alot to get to chapter... 79?FL has only used the system ONCE up to this point. Characters in the novel are so obviously unnecessarily inhumane that its not even normal. Even the reasons they're obsessed with FL seems illogical and forced sometimes. It was okay for a light read

I think what threw myself, and alot of readers off, was that the relationship between the characters- especially the ML and FL, is quite shallow so it makes his feelings of anger and betrayal cringe to say the least. Example: He literally entered a area trying to self destruct after finding out she was the queen, the whole scene of him feeling betrayed and heartbroken and breaking down and all that...just didn't match the fact that....he had only know this person less than a week, only 3 very short scenes as a matter of fact. Now while we can accept the FL being obsessive and attached from the get-go, since she's said to be a yandere, he, was from the beginning to be a very normal very logical person; a psychiatrist in his past life even. It just didn't match. Another example was the hero's 'deep concern' for the disappearance of the ML like they were besties, but actually they've only met once-briefly. Even the heroine, after meeting the hero once or twice, believed that he should trust her deeply. All connections just seem very very forced. Because of that, scenes that were written very well to tug at the heartstrings...just felt...cringe I think what would massively help would be to insert more friendship and relationship building scenes in the beginning, more scenes together in general so that those 'deep feelings of hurt and betrayal' ACTUALLY make sense

If you're a first time reader, go ahead and read. But If you're seasoned...its...cringe. Like, I liked the idea of a system that could freely modify stats, but, his mindset is just too nouveau riche. Immediately going to 'oh, it's just a million dollar car, no big deal' to show off to his friends is just way too cliché and cringe. It turned into 'just another one of those novels' with no novelty real fast. Within the first or 2nd chapter alone he became like that. Also, the way they dumbed down everyone around him was just too much. I couldn't go any further without covering my face. It's a no for me
