I’m glad Sunny treats his Shadows as companions, though that’s obvious. I’m sure other Awakeneds(?) treat their Echoes well as well, but I’m also sure there are those who see them as only tools for battle and war

So far, him getting a new core doesn’t grant him any new abilities other than a new shadow and increased essence capacity. So no, he won’t be able to create monsters

Sooo… do the people know that the Gods are dead? Is it just common knowledge? Why did I assume that it’s something only Sunny knew? When he spoke to Teacher Julius, did Julius mention the Gods being dead?

I know Sunny most likely rolled over and landed on his feet, but I like to imagine that he rolled over and just face-planted onto the ground, too tired to care, and just started controlling the shadows while lying down
Creating a bridge of shadows had cost him a lot of essence, but the mental strain had been far worse. Sunny felt tired and lazy, but he had no choice except to get busy right away. The walls of the passage were much closer to each other than that of the main tunnel, its roof lower, and the circle of light was even narrower still. Whenever Sunny hopes that they might survive a dire situation, or for the situation to get better, people always point to [Fated] like it’s more likely they’ll not survive it. But [Fated] makes unlikely things more likely to happen for Sunny, be it good or bad. So if it’s very unlikely they’ll survive this, wouldn’t [Fated]’s effect be that they’ll be more likely to survive it somehow? Attribute Description: "The strings of fate wrap tightly around you.
