It’s early so still hard to say, but it’s generally well written. It gives very similar energy to Supreme Magus if you like that novel, though given the title and synopsis, it’s likely to take a much different direction. If you like that novel, it seems likely you’ll like this one

Suggestion is to replace first period with comma. Then end first sentence after “Bone”

It’s still early in the story so take this with a grain of salt. The author is cooking up something, and I’m smelling it good. Bear in mind this is not Nuts to Butts immediate nonstop action, but the characters and world they built are lush. You’re going to want to stick with it through the first 8 chapters, when you do, you’ll be rewarded with the payoff the author was building up.
