While I understand why you may have wanted to post this fanfiction to another website, the original owner should be the one to actually do it. The story itself is really good, so I would implore people to look for the original, "Ha! The Boys" on Fanfiction.net rather than to continue reading it here from someone who's not the original author and doesn't have permission to post this.

Also, I apologize to those who wanted him but I just don't think I can really introduce Kiyotaka since Light was always meant to take his place besides, You know how difficult it would be to write a fight between the two? I could never see them as allies, they would always be a threat to one another. And lastly, the part I hated the most was Ichinose's confession (The girl who originally confessed to Ichinose) was instead replaced by a guy who attempted to assault her, I got the idea from other writers who also wrote COTE books but I hated it over time. It was actually going to be revealed that Nagumo set him up and he wanted to be the "night in shinning armor". But he got cucked (That probably won't change in general). Thus began his hatred for Light who was now the center of attention from everyone in the school. I won't go down that route in regard to the confession. But do trust that Light and Nagumo will never be friends, they're face off will eventually happen. I also dislike how the author has treated Nagumo, like make him an actual threat don't just build him up and let Kiyotaka one shot him. Nagumo has managed to get into the student council, Manabu had to acknowledge that Nagumo had something else to him and he was able to subjugate an entire school year. Maybe he isn't as smart as Arisu or Ryuuen but he doesn't necessarily have to be. There are ways to make him so much more and actively show it, which is what I'll be doing in this story. Remember, despite what Light's and Nagumo's relationship may seem like, they'll always end up as enemies. I will also include many elements of war into the story, and they're will even be a huge plot twist that will make sense once it's introduced. Im telling you, no one will see it coming, you just have to wait and hope that I don't lose motivation before getting to it. Spoiler Alert: It comes in volume 7. Also, "Why is Light in Class D?" You think he would just settle to enjoy a comfortable life after all he went through? It also wasn't even up to him, remember why people are in the classes that they are in. Their circumstances/flaws dictate in what classes they'll be placed in. *Cough* White Room *Cough* *Cough* Kiyotaka Ayanokouji *Cough* (No I don't have Corona) Finally, thank you for all the support. I saw the 99+ notifications that I had and got really nervous and when I finally had the courage to open it, it made me so happy that everyone looked forward to the rewrite. As a thank you, I would turn you over to a song called "Biggering", the cut song from the Lorax. I know it doesn't make much sense on paper but the song is such a banger, I'll probably listen to it while writing the story. Light needs to "bigger" his sphere of influence. Finally (finally after exhausting you with reading), I am still a lot more accustomed to Wattpad, and am very active there. It may be a different experience reading on Wattpad because they'll actually be pictures, bolded words, tilted words, and the beautiful Death Note ED music at the start of the chapter. I think the ED's fit more than the OP's. I'll try to make it fair for both platforms whenever there are pictures and videos. Please do criticize, I'm still a novice writer, and I don't even have a proper spell checker-Grammarly actually made my writing worse on the first chapter (I'm on mobile so that may be why.) Please send help with a spell checker for free, I'm broke so I can't afford premium. But seriously, thank you, I just want to make a good story that most everyone is happy with. I apologize that the book hasn't met your expectations. His true persona will be explained later on, but it's your choice if you choose to keep on reading, with that being said, it does follow the original story so I do have a restricted space to work with. If you've read the light novel, you should already know why Light is in Class D. Additionally, Light didn't always act like a maniac and he always had a face to keep in public. It's explained why Light is so helpful since it's for one of his goals and he has a reputation to keep. I have kept the harem element to keep the book open for now, but that won't be the main focus. I don't want to force you to, but if you'd like you can read the Wattpad version of this book, to get a better experience. In the most recent chapters, it becomes more clear what Light is doing, and eventually more and more will be expanded upon. Once again, I apologize for not meeting your expectations.

Do you want me to continue mentioning a few nit-bits of history, it does serve a purpose in the story but I'll keep it to a minimum if it gets annoying.
