My phone did something completely screwed up and even I have no idea what is going on in this post as thee are several parts that I thought I rewrote, and edited, and ditched cause while they sounded good in my head after I read through them realized was complete crap

Rui is being kind of dumb, yes I know if he's not there is no story but anyway First off if he gets immortality who cares if he has to be the emperor for a few centuries or even millenia he has the time and he can literally breed/raise a successor who will not only be a better emperor than him but also want to do it Next the doctor just tell him that if he does not help him get out Rui will kill him. Once it is a problem for the doctor to die Rui has leverage. Also in the other direction if what Rui's concern is that he needs time and being the emperor will be too much of a waste he should be ecstatic with where he is. He literally has all the time he could ever want and it is highly likely that even if it took awhile he would eventually become a master which solves the problem of the dungeon

So at what point does Aegis get itratated a sheer egregiousness of all of this, and have a few shields or maybe a savior show up and make an example of Anatomy and Kugleblitz by taking ALL of their specters and distributing them to I dunno the other cities and then dragging all of the employees of both of them and kill them, oh i dunno lifetime at hard labor with a cortex bomb to ensure compliance
