I’m having a hard time staying with the novel. How many bad things are supposed to happen to these couples? Avery and Evan are so easily manipulated into not trusting each other and the way they punish one another is hard to imagine. I’ve wanted to see them together but I’m not sure with the obstacles. And why can’t Avery see Dr. Charles has never been on her side and only on his own?

Finally it seems lIke Evan and Avery are working together better. She still needs to tell him about the poison.

Here we go again! If Evan would have just told Avery that he didn’t have *** with that awful witch there woukd be no problem. I’ll say it again, their communication sucks!
