How is she meant to trust u when u’ve never shown her u were trustworthy? U see… the mere fact she delayed telling u for so long till our mc convinced her is enough proof she didn’t think of u as reliable nor trustworthy. Little kids are tattletales yes.. but only to people they trust. They won’t go tattle to a stranger, they’d tattle to someone they believe would properly punish the person they’re snitching on. So she didn’t tell u meaning: she doesn’t think u’d punish her appropriately and needs it to be proven/shown. Or told to her… preferably by you guys but I guess our mc gets the deal done too.
