Actually, Old man Yama could potentially just outright negate Aizen’s abilities. When Suì-Fēng's Nigeki Kessatsu failed against Aizen, it was becuase his Reiatsu was so overwhelming that he just outright negated her abilities. Yama should be able to replicate this, but Nigeki Kessatsu poisons the person so I could see how it wouldn’t work the same as Yama negating Aizen’s control of Yama’s five senses
Aizen was absurdly strong even without his Zanpakutō, Kyōka Suigetsu. The only beings currently capable of fighting Aizen were the Royal Guards or the Sternritters. He doubted any Captain, even Yamamoto, could apprehend Aizen.
