Big fan of anime. Done some writing before but never released it, so I've made an account to stop lurking on fanfics and finally contribute to the site lol.

How so? Like an identity crisis or something? Because I had no plans of anything like that lol. Just had plans for the MC growing and becoming the type of person he wants to be.
Yeah, pretty much. Or at least when that's a feasible option. He's not always gonna have tens of thousands of points to spend because eventually he'll run out of experiences to record and the experiences he can record will give less points than before.
Literally just leads to Moriarty lol. Sadly, however, you can't wish for people's skills. Only experience with certain things - if you gain Sherlock Holmes' deduction skills, you'll get it not from asking for Sherlock Holmes' skills but by asking for experience in detective work and deduction. Even then there's a massive chance you won't get anything to do with Sherlock Holmes because the primary way of the book giving you experience is by showing you a different but parallel version of yourself. Or at least that's how I see it.
That'd cost a lot of points. Like A LOT of points. Atomic-level Body Control would make him completely invincible, so I don't think I'd give him that even if he had the points. It'd make the book boring, honestly.
Uh, no--It was you who brought up the super soldier serum in the first place lol. I was just replying to what you said. If you started with ''he could make a cure for Korosensei'' then I wouldn't have answered about the super soldier thing. And could he cure him? Maybe. Who knows. All depends on his luck, honestly. He could sink 10,000 Experience Points into a medical skill and only get the experiences of a normal doctor or a pharmacist. He's not guaranteed to get the experience of some genius biochemist.
Yeah, it's an Oedipus Complex. I was just wondering if there was an anime-variant. You know because you've got bro-con and sis-con...so I just figured there'd be a mother-con/mom-con or whatever as well.
Also, no super soldier serum he could make is gonna improve his physique lmao. He's already able to move at 200+ meters per second. That's waaaay quicker than someone like Captain America and he's a prime example of what a super soldier is.
Yeah, that's probably what I'd personally do. If I were just on Earth and not in an anime world anyway. On Earth, brain power and intelligence can get you just about anywhere if you have the ambition and personal drive to put in a little work. On an anime world it can do the same but if you're in front of someone like Yujiro Hanma...brain power ain't gonna help you too much lol.
Seems kinda boring though. A good choice, sure, but it just seems like having that much talent would eventually just make life boring and without fun. After all, what's the point in doing things when you can do them perfectly and better than everyone else? It's kinda what Saitama feels when he can't find a good fight.
Other than the last (and edgiest) part of what you said, I agree. That's probably the most efficient thing to get. In that order - training, spatial/gravity manipulation and then some other talent boosting thing or just something that makes something easier to do.
Just to be clear, I didn't know magic was something you could get through the book so it didn't cross my mind. I'm still not giving the MC magic though. I detest mage MC's, so there's no way I'm making my first MC a mage lol.
Yeah, same. I think she'll come back at some point after the MC breaks up with Sumi or whatever. But who knows what'll happen.
