Call me Cas! I’m very casual about it… I only read fantasy. I only write fantasy. I only support fantasy.

Honestly… Not too long ago, I was told by a friend to start reading TLOM, and I am still reading the original book. Reading the original and a fanfic at the same time gives one a weird feeling, though in a good way. I guess the original translation is ‘too’ professional and diverse in its lore and complexity, while the lore of a fanfic is more or so oriented toward a light shade of plot, easy to digest and pleasurable to follow. I look forward to the development of this book as it mirrors one of the top selling books on this platform!
Borderline poetic depiction of the xianxia theme, fleshed out with an above average grammar. The story and the main plot I mean, doesn’t leave much to guess and work the head about. Nonetheless, precisely as we, as readers, can see a clear goal when it comes to the direction of the plot… I can say that the author is doing great when it comes to providing us with a sense of fulfillment when things we aspired to presict do come to reality. Though generic overall, this book does have different colors to its world… Definitely worth giving it a read and earning a spot as one of the early, OGs in an upcoming heavy fan base.
*Summons Dora to explore.*
Choice of words is quite unique on this platform, but the format of paragraphs doesn’t suit the app because each para is too long… Just shorten them out and everything would be great with the writing. The them is generic, though immersive at the same time. I can tell that this book needs a little polishing in future chapters, and it would become a hidden gem in the future. Better yet, this might give plenty experience to the new author for future works down the line. Keep it up, author!
😂😂😭
No s*it Sherlock! Our boy is smart, already realized that on his own -.-
A mini sandbox universe :0
People be a little different when wet 😳
Okay now that’s what a nerd with no charm at all would say… Face is everyting to girls
They obviously want to go around applying lotion to women while preaching their faith for it…
It’s called playing hard to get! Get that in your books
The novel has quite the bumpy start with occasional typos and constant perspective switches. However, things quickly fall in line as the author reveals bits and pieces of the plot, events, and character interactions. There is little to be said about world building as this book features generic urban fantasty in addition to a player’s system. The little irony that a game character is now a player in the real world gives some food for thought, and I wonder if the author might introduce parallel realities down the line. The consistent perspective switch makes one feel as though no character is the main per se, but everyting eventually revolves around Rayn in one way or another. I’ve always liked harem stories, but I must say the romance in this one needs a lot of fine tuning. The psychological works at play, together with cheats such as charm, ruin the entire point of romance… It would be better if the MC outright hypnotizes the females instead of playing two faced and commiting deciet. All in all, I give this book 3/5, maleable for change depending on future progress!
It’s always the old man! Sigh…
Yeah, short flat chested girls aren’t meant for the battlefield!
This is such a fresh breath to comedic transmigration novels. If you want some other work to compare, you can think about Ultimate Scheming System, and that should give you a general idea of what masterpiece this book is… Don’t let it sit around and collect dust in your library, give it the attention it deserves!
