Extending my previous comment the problem with eldritch is I don’t think oh man I can’t wait for them to fight I think oh man I can’t wait for him to be out of the story I don’t know much about him as a person or lore related to his character and have no reason to want to and I also don’t have reason to sympathize with him nor reason to have really any feeling other then annoyance at his place in the story

I’m getting tired of how much plot armor eldritch is getting seriously fighting a demigod being he has always felt awkward as a villain character as he is by himself but so clearly far ahead of everyone else in an awkward way do to how the game world progresses and works if you are on a good faction npcs will illogically never do anything particularly useful themselves but bad npcs have to be for the rest of the player base to have stuff to do consequently he gets to benefit for doing nothing at all there is a reason actual games don’t let players join a proper villainous faction because a player faction can’t have as much agency the way this is normally gotten around in novels that have the elite evil player groups is if you zoom out no matter how good they are the evil player is going to lose and get there account wiped they are effectively getting to role play as an antagonist with a different system to everybody else at the cost of not possibly getting a true win Adrian or any other random player could run into an area that awakens a dark god and starts a big event and eldritch will gain immensely without having to do anything just because he is on evil side it doesn’t help we don’t have any reason to like or sympathize with him as he is basically just going about making himself more powerful in ways that effectively cut the entirety of the remaining player base off from content like the game seems cool and fun as long as eldritch isn’t invovled and the second he is it gets annoying tedious and unrewarding it’s kind of a problem to let a player be on a side that could likely win even if they don’t do anything and even worse for there actions alone to define the course of the game for everyone else in potentially significantly negative ways just by virtue of being the bad guy. If eldritch was more of chaotic neutral and had interesting motives sometimes helping sometimes hurting he could be a far more interesting character but as is he is just obnoxious and whenever he shows up the story is less enjoyable. He can’t even really get a redemption arc because he isn’t a character but a basically the authors way of causing problems.

Why not she can absorb gems and other things just fine I would assume it would at most be like the dungeon chests where she needs a higher armory level

You know it’s kinda weird that light and dark is one thing but not space and time which literally are one thing

I wonder how long humanity has existed in this world because I can only assume not very otherwise there is no reason things like shields formations or eating monster meat would be novel especially the last one which in theory even pre human ancestors should have been able to figure out I can definitely forgive the random organ briefly has way more bonus thing though as it could potentially be unknown if nobody at all can sense energy to a competent degree but seriously shields and formations are so ancient we can’t even say when they came into being and being dumb and eating stuff too regardless of it tasting good or even being safe to eat

I still hope for an oceanic summon maybe make it also the space time thing so a cosmic leviathan it could be massive put pretty much only show parts of itself due to moving through space differently if Adrian wanted to get one he would prob have to luck out and find a baby this is all assuming something like that exists
