Well, excuse him for having bad memories from his past. It's actually just part of the development. The bravado is there......maybe a little too much, but memories from his past life will tangle with his current emotions. PTSD can occur. He got over it as well.

It wasn't until later in the series he started using it properly. He's a pup here. He is a regressor, but I remember saying he was a spoilt brat in his past life. Memories from his past life won't exactly help in this 'scheme' If you're curious, you can continue if not then 🤝
