It has everything to do with what he just said. The guy asked why doesn’t he accept the offer to live with the Gordon’s. Black Mask is the reason Esau doesn’t accept the offer. Because if he does, Black Mask who doesn’t care about the police will kill Gordon. Gotham’s had many commissioners and considering what Gotham is like and how I’ve perceived it and many also do, criminals like Black Mask are not above killing police officers and commissioners. This was Esau doing what he can to protect the people he cares about. So it has everything to do with what he just said.

That won’t be happening I hated that. No problem with gay characters but turning a well established straight character gay was just so odd and I didn’t like it.

So, spoilers ahead for anyone that doesn't want to read If you remember there is a substance that Sinister injected into Scott in the earlier chapters. That there is actually Inhuman in origin and will see Scott develop Inhuman powers. There is a clone of Cyclops that developed an Inhuman ability to cover his body in a hardened substance that increased his strength and durability. Scott will develop this as well. He also will get the Trajectory Bending ability that has been shown by Cyclops in some versions of the story allowing him to control the direction freely. There is the Octessence (Cyttorak) which in the X-Men Evolution story enhances Scott and Alex's powers further and will happen as well, but will only enhance the output of Scott's powers and later when he unlocks the Inhuman ability, will enhance that further also. The Venom symbiote will also be found by Scott before it becomes the Venom symbiote we know and love. Through its ability to copy and replicate the powers of its wielder, Scott will take advantage of this. Scott will also meet a future version of himself that will give him (I haven't fully decided yet) but some sort of marker or shard of the Phoenix Force which will then allow Scott to be chosen as a potential wielder of the Phoenix Force alongside Jean. Through a turn of events, his powers will be further enhanced with the power of the Beyonder during a game between Scott and Dr Doom. Those are the powers I've come up with so far, but I haven't decided on all the little nuances just yet.

I won't make any promises but I will see how the story progresses.

Rei will have romantic interactions with Kurenai, Anko, Yugito, Samui, Pakura, Mei and Konan. Whether this will turn into a full-fledged Harem, I'm still debating that for the time being.
