This book was absolutely captivating. it had me hooked from the very beginning, and I spent MANY coins on it. There are many ups and downs in this book, but they all feel necessary to the development of the story. The only thing I didn't immensely enjoy was the open ending, you've been warned. Idk if that counts as a spoiler, but just in case I'll mark it as one.

This book was a drug I could not put down. I'm a bit saddened by the ending but I understand that you did it because she has lives in both times. It's just that Alicia doesn't seem to think twice about wanting to go back so I wish you had at least ended it with Harold in her time. That will not stop me from giving this captivating book a good rating.

ik she's feeling betrayed and it's probably trust issues kicking in but it still makes no sense that he'd wait that long then trade you in. the letter was sent to him and apparently he didn't get it yet, where is his fault in that? it's not like he wrote it. plus Darla gave it to you. for all you know she could've forged it
Ileus had made her believe that he loved her, but all he wanted to do was trade her with Aed Ruad. Her chest was rising and falling rapidly. She wasn't safe here, she wasn't safe anywhere. She needed to get away from him, from everybody. The entire group was in cahoots. She knew deep down that the last few days were too good to be true.
