darkness is absence of light, the all permeating unknown. light is the known, and while it exists conceals the darkness. shadow is the the product of light, it's greater and at the same time equal to the light.

your chapters are too short, 3 of your chapters combined will struggle to form a single average length chapter. it just takes away the immersion. your story is good, but it makes me consider dropping it altogether
