A extreme move. These did not seem to be rare books, she could have transcribed her fathers copy.

Han Yu wrote until dawn, finally finishing the transcription of the two military tomes. He reluctantly caressed the two military books that Su Wenyue had copied for a while, took an abandoned basin, and burned the books one page at a time until they turned to ashes. From now on, no one could link the military books to his daughter-in-law. Even if one day the books were discovered, interested parties would only focus on him, and he had his own ways of dealing with it.

I think daughter in law comes from the perspective of a combined family under the parents. He is the son. She is the daughter in law. I kinda like it but now that the family is divided, maybe it will change.

However, all these were just thoughts in Han Yu's mind, and he had not let Su Wenyue know. Such dark matters were best handled by him alone; his daughter-in-law only needed to spend her days happily. He would support her and protect her within his realm.

Han Hao was not receptive and was about to respond when Han Ping ran out of patience and threw a punch. Such a fool needed to be properly disciplined, or who knows what trouble he might cause in the future. Since the Main House had not yet split up, any mistakes this fool made could also drag Han Ping down, otherwise he wouldn't bother intervening.

Xiao Xi felt relieved hearing her Miss's reply. Her Miss had indeed become more powerful, no longer the whimsical girl of the past. As Miss had said, there surely wouldn't be a problem.

I can almost remember my mother saying this when I was a teenager.

"Shut your mouth. You want to stir up more trouble, is that it? Tell me, when will that mouth of yours stop offending people!"

Bed’s cat might be out of the bag. Having 2 Mark II dueling might give a bad impression!

"The minister recalled him to take part in an emergency session. I bet it's about the recent attack on the BLM. Nasty buggers, all of them. I'm glad we finally stomped on their faces for once."

Must be remote monitoring. Just hope they don’t sleep on the job.

SASS mainly accomplished this by installing a number of fixed defenses, from anti-air turrets to anti-mech cannons. A permanent detachment of three security officers managed the entire security grid.

To get over Carls death he has to experience a fake death. I disagree with the manipulation even if it helped him. How will he feel when he finds out? It will be a happy event but unforgivable still. I could not be a freind to someone who would do that.

'It would be as cruel as hypocritical of me. He sacrificed himself doing what he believed right, just like I almost did. Protecting someone is much harder than killing, too many things can go wrong. That's why I need power, much more than I already have!'

I would work for free in that greenhouse but I could not afford the fee for the Inn.

This was, more or less, the main work force for the Greenhouse - or at least the upper management of it. Among just insects, there were over thirteen million worms, around two million bees and just as many butterflies and ladybugs. There were also countless beasts, and two interns who were actually guests but had become addicted to working at the greenhouse. A scan of them had revealed that they were actually werewolves.

    Had enough?

That was just a polite way of saying yes. He would need every advantage he could take. He sat down, for once not in a rush, and began slowly nibbling on the revolting food. The issue with this, in particular, was that it was the uncooked body parts of a certain type of worm that tunneled through space.
