yes they do but but our mc is using dagger so he doesn't use them as much , also it consumes mana which is why instead of basic attacks , he goes with magic skills

Okay just going to clear it here for the readers who are confused by why there's a cooldown in real life. Right now the MC has low mana and when mana reaches rock bottom which means zero the MC could die. Overusing a skill at his level will drain all of his mana , so to prevent this from happening cooldown have been introduced. Also skill doesn't show mana consumption cause MC's level is too low for that. Peace.

So we're 50 chapters in , I've focused on the character's emotional development in these chapters. The MC is confused with what to do , what is right , why should he get up and live. So I tried to give answers to those questions in these chapters. I personally think that the story get better after chapter 20 so I hope you'll read till 20. Writing Quality : I'm a noob at writing the first few chapters have many grammatical mistakes , all I can say is bare with them for now. I only get few hours to write as I'm prepping for my exams , I plan to edit them in future tho when I'm a lot better at writing. World Development : if you've read till the latest chapters you know a lot is happening , I like it when there's a lot going on at the same time. You're welcome to give me any kind of suggestions , please give me any suggestions you've. Characters : MC is said to be a genius but I still haven't mentioned what his strong points are so stay tuned for that. The side characters will not have much interactions with the MC , for now atleast.(I'm only talking about beta testers here)

think of it like this when the mid was unawakened it had a type of shield or trigger after getting damaged it awakened. also this happens with every player the first time they encounter Mid-Garfon
