DigitalSynapse3yrReplied to PoeticSonicThe problem is that most people disregard video games as childish or just a thing to kill time (which is sometimes the case). Hence why the industry is massive bit relatively isolated. But it seems that, ever so slowly, some people are starting to explore it's underutilized potential. The mainstream keeps misrepresenting video games so they can control it's image i.e "they cause violence" , "they're overpriced" etc. But in time I believe it will legitimize itself and show it's utility beyond merely "killing time".

Might be late but, in my opinion one piece is so massively popular in large part due to it's longevity. Though credit should be given where credit is due: it's stability outclasses any other anime. But I don't believe one piece would still be on top if it had a more condensed story with less content
