I think of it less like a system and more like a hud, it doesn’t allow him to allocate skill points or give him some otherworldly power. All it does is tell him something he can find out for himself quicker.
I feel like you’re forgetting the fact that he knows he’s being watched by the school and that the magic beasts are in on it. Yes he was panicked but not because he was afraid of dying but because he was afraid of failing. That doesn’t warrant the use of playing all of his cards, his character up to now has shown that he’d rather look unable rather than show everyone what he can do. The reader was the only one who knows that the spiders were actually planning to kill them. As for the doom and gloom of the novel originally, it was already stated that he wants to work on his people skills. He just wants to be able to put up a fake smile without people thinking he wants them to die (even if that’s exactly what he is thinking). He has plans but he actually needs to treat people like people in order to attain his goals. Personally I find that you think the book was going to be like the first chapters to be rather short sighted. No change in dynamic tends to be uninteresting and sometimes down right boring. At least this way the emotion can take a plunge if warranted that way we experience the highest highs and the lowest lows from the author.
Stupidity*
Yeah, it’s also an abnormal pathway according to Fors so there’s something strange about it
We’ll get ’em next time
At least a thousand
I don’t know, Klein did want revenge but I never considered that to be his driving purpose in getting stronger. I think Lumian has a much more defined vengeance to his story, and he definitely lost a lot more. I’ll always miss Dunn but Aurore’s death has a different impact and feeling of loss. It’s not just Aurore either, it’s also the loss of his home, his friends, and his normal life all of which were taken by one man.
Beyonder characteristics are fragments of the original creator and ATSs aren’t the only things that can bestow powers, sequences 0s can also bestow powers through blessings. Sefirots are considered pieces of the original creator but they aren’t exactly like beyonder characteristics, they are more like divine realms that enhance a beyonders abilities. They also can’t be consumed like characteristics and must be accomodated. The reason I said my previous comment is because there is nothing about the dancer pathway on the blasphemy slate and the pathway itself is considered abnormal by nature, so until I get more information about this pathway I will continue to believe that you must be bestowed these abilities.
What’s more dangerous is a living sealed artifact that can’t intentionally activate its power
It didn’t cause any problems when looked at though, but it could be related to something from COI
What a line to leave on… That sucks
But how do you fuse one pathway from potions and another pathway from blessings. Unless you think that the ATSs can be mixed like how Calamity and Eternal Darkness can mixed (however that works)
Personally, I think there is no way it’s the city of calamity. One, it is too heavily influenced outside sources. Two, we have seen a projection of the city of calamity thanks to Klein and it looks more like Shanghai rather than ruins. Three, Lumian seems to have no control over it at all and even Klein had the ability to move Sefirah Castle a little bit at sequence 9 (Lumian is already sequence 8/9 with provoker and dancer but it seems less like a divine kingdom and more like a trial). And four, I would rather have Lumian have something stranger than a sefirot as his gimmick and Klein already spawned with this gimmick before, something new would be much more preferable.
She shouldn’t have a connection to sefirah castle anymore. Not only is sefirah castle owned by Klein no, she is also on a completely different pathway. That’s why Roselle couldn’t access it even though he recreated the ritual item that put him into sefirah castle.
That doesn’t make a great deal of sense though, because if you’re right then why does Fors bother with meeting him in the supposed “dream” rather than in the ruins. There is also the grey fog surrounding the ruins and how outside interference continues to exists in the time looped Cordu.
Ahhh sequence 8, the point at which any situation will become instantly complicated.
I would argue that it still wasn’t as quick as Lumian finding out
