The best explanation for objective truth has to be given by an entity independent of human subjective beliefs and it must be also true no matter the change in the environment; hence the best explanation for It has to be God. Consequently, Objective moral truth must exist. This argument is clearly valid as the premises follow a logical chain of reasoning that must be factually true; as it shows âObjective moral truthâ must derive from an entity that is of higher power and knowledge from us that can not be comprehended by a human mind, and the best explanation would be God. Therefore, it is also sound. Hence, proving itâs a deductive argument. In this sense, the argument works in a similar fashion to how the Cartesian circle resolves itself; namely, if there is truth in one element of the equation, then there is truth in the whole equation, and, given the truth is known a priori that there is belief-relativism coincident with belief in the objective veracity of belief-relativism.
