Seeing both their reactions, The boy smiled, and immediately the formal mask was gone. He still held himself formally, but Jace felt warmth from him instead of cold. He was still reluctant to approach, but he relaxed a little. Sara returned the smile shyly, and her face became red. Jace observed her curiously, then realized what was going on. Jace felt the tug shudder as it was caught up in the tractor beam. Then the tug began to twist and turn, and he realized this wasn't your classic tractor beam. Eventually, it was facing away from the ship, with the large rear cargo doors facing the entry hatch. It was disorienting, staring off into empty space, being guided by an unknown hand. They stopped abruptly, causing both Jace and Sara to stumble and fall in a jumbled heap. They quickly separated themselves and scrambled to their feet, their faces burning. It was a very strange experience for Jace, he had never really known a girl, so they intimidated him a bit and he had never made physical contact with a girl before. It was… weird.
