Reminds me of king Calhoun in ash knight The crown obsession. King Cal was a vampire demon. human. Angel. He had massive black wings also. This story reminded me of a few of king Cal traits.

Maybe a little cut with the sword wouldn't hurt either. Yes, he was the king but he wasn't going to cry or punish a woman for hurting him. That wouldn't look good on him. Besides, this was combat, the only time where she could actually hit the king.
