I feel like becoming a saint is your body becoming like that of a god. While becoming a supreme makes your body stronger too, the main benefit is your soul/will becoming like that of a god (able to influence the world).

This is pretty bad for Nick. While he has gotten really powerful and established himself, almost all of his main powerful allies died. Only the Technician left

I partially wonder if he’s nearby just observing the fight. He definitely is a believer in trying to train his subordinates through real combat experience. Two fifth level warriors under him being able to experience combat with an evolved warrior would be valuable.
