Yeah. I did Tray and Austin dirty TBH. When writing this my editor left me, and i was stuck with them cause they werent supposed to make it past meeting famine but my editor pushed me to keep them alive. Which opens uo a vulnerable space in the MC that Death exploits and uses it against him to try to kill him. I honestly was to far into writing when she left that I kept Tray, and changed Death a bit.
