love these chapters! I am incredibly anxious to see Heavens grandfather's plan! so much mystery around it. although her grandfather is much more open and logical then I would have expected the devil to be! your characters come alive with so much detail!

I love this chapter! I love that we are seeing more of Lothaire! Funny thing that somehow Zarin thinks the devil was born yesterday and can't see past his rationalizations of sin. Good luck to him, I'm pretty sure he just screwed himself 😂😂😂😂 I just hope Heaven is not easily munipulated!

I think Zarin is grasping at straws at this point. I don't think he is bad, but yes young and blinded by his emotions. He needs to truly grow up or I don't see him in Heavens future at all.

I love this chapter. it shows without a doubt that Heaven has come a long way from the child she started out as. she is going to make a great ruler. This chapter also showed how strong she is when it comes to emotional matters as well. It's a chapter that definitely illustrated women's empowerment. I'm happy didn't see her fail and fall backward. completely and totally agree with you! I've seen many comments bashing Zarin and I'm pretty confused as to why. he is meant to be in his early 20s I believe, I know grown men in their 30s and 40s who don't have their shit together. I think most people are expecting to be somehow far more evolved then his age and experience will allow. Zamiel has literally had hundreds of years to evolve past that and had chances to make mistakes in his youth and even had a family and looses them. Zamiel might be better suited for Heaven but I wouldn't cut out Zarin as a possibility just yet.

I don't really agree here. Heaven wanted him to marry her so she wouldn't have to be with some random guy. I think he said no because he wanted her to want him for the right reasons. He also thought he had time to for the love to develop, but Zamiel came into the picture. I personally want her with Zamiel, and I'm not excusing his current behaviour.

I really like this chapter! It isn't a mess at all! I'm glad Zarin is finally fighting for Heaven, I do feel bad for him in some ways though. He doesn't want to lose her and is trying as hard as he can, but he is not prepared for what she will come up against. He doesn't have the ability to protect her and she needs that. I am very happy to see Heaven trying out what she learned from both physical training and witch training. I am glad Zamiel is coming to her rescue. He does very much love her.
