honestly that would make a good decent minor plot point, you've already showed how dark it can get with the ra pe arc, not saying you should have a child involved though, I'd say the other dynamic is a concern as well (adults from earth doing the bad to children native to eden)

it does seem a bit out of place, but I think its actually an effect of David getting used to his "deadification" it was a bit subtle, but it was noted a bit that his agressive behavior was influenced by his body adapting to his new eden body and a lack of sleep. David's actual personality might just be surfacing.
