kids can be really smart sometimes , especially in seeing things from a different perspective. And i know of someone who grumbles "why have so many children" to this same problem, so I don't thing it's such a far fetched thing to say and orpal's character is mature enough to plan [img=faceslap]* spoiler alert*(i totes dont remember if this happened before this or after this) murder. But yeah he would get beatten(?) a lot if he said that but knowing the parent's character it could have been a really nice decision in the long run. Sorry for the long comment

That's a valid point i guess. But they knew they couldn't afford this much kids, if they see kids as only an investment maybe they should stop being so vocal about how bad this guy is.......(ok i have already dropped the novel and i don't remember much of the story but I do remember how riled up i was about the many kids thing since this is still a thing but yeah it is beneficial in the long run)
