I'm guessing she doesn't have a clue of his power, she once said he's powerful but last chapter when she killed the stone worm she asked herself if an awakened monster was not strong enough in his eyes when Sunny told her to hunt stronger nightmare creatures. At the very least she can rest assure that she won't be insta killed in her sleep while Sunny is there watching over her. Kinda like when Sunny first couple of nights at the forgotten shore, he knew his shadow would wake him up if anything happened
