i am confused about how it's new years? I thought the chapter with her taking a plane and reuniting with him after 4 days was the new years. she said she was too busy and tried to get some time off for new year but she still had to work. (otherwise you could add a different holiday)

if he wanted her so much why did he leave her alone the next day. I'm surprised she didn't bring that up yet.

I went back to read what I missed but I was not happy about the upcoming plot twist involving James.

I tried to read ahead because I wanted to find out if Chloe would get caught in the lie about the twins but then they just add more plot twists. I just want to see her and James together but everyone keeps plotting against them.
