Well, I have thought of that, but you will see later chapter that he will get the resources. Another observation that I found was that in the anime, they showed the Magic tool with a dark stone which I made the assumption of a magic tool that will hinder you cultivation rather than boost it. My thinking is that if they can create a magic tool that will boost, why not make a magic tool that can hinder or slow down you cultivation. As for that, I believe that the current Zhuoyun would definitely give Mo Fan the hinder one.

Umm, He is not almost intermediate. He still has to climb Level 2 and Level 3. He is peak Level 1. My thinking is this: there needs to be an measurement orb for each level. A good example of this is Tales of Demons and Gods. In the first cultivation exam, they used a lower level crystal that measured Nie Li's friends cultivation, and the crystal broke 3 times. Just like this, Mo Fan's fire element is on the edge of reaching level 2.

Good point, but how I see it is that Mo Fan 's past life cultivation experiences doesn't really speed up his cultivation now. Cultivating stays the same rate (without items supporting a faster cultivation), but his experiences in control and breakthroughs are so much better.
