It’s usually said as three and out, because most times you don’t go for it on fourth down(you usually punt the ball) so you really only have three downs hence three and out

If I’m not mistaken the seven kingdoms are called that, because there were seven kingdoms when Aegon Targaryen conquered them(excluding Dorne) 1.) The Reach (Led by House Gardener), 2.)The Storm Lands(Led by House Baratheon), 3.) The Westerlands (Led by House Lannister), 4.) The Vale(Led by House Arryn), 5.) The Riverlands(Led by House Hoare, 6.) The North(Led by House Stark, 7.) Dorne (Led by House Martell

I assume the author meant attack this castle, and Aerys was talking about the dragon understanding commands.
