After the discovery of this book I 'inhaled' it. Smooth storytelling and captivating characters will do that. Who needs the sleep anyway?

While references to the movies 'Matrix' and 'Bird box' is a win in my eyes, some word choices and structure of sentences are a bit weird given the context.

Well written book what is perfect for newbies of this genre as it'll set the bar high.

This is one fab rebirth story! No miracles, no super skills, just plain hard work over time to succeed. Characters have depth and motivation for their actions. World building is precise to paint a clear picture where characters are and why. Storytelling is engaging and flawless. Totally recommend!
